“Enosis” The Federation of Hellenic-American Organizations annual Greek Independence Day Parade is one of our community’s premiere events. The parade is the result of the participation and hard work of the Hellenic people. Staging such an event costs money for administration, trophies, equipment rental, transportation, permits, promotions, etc. Although funds for the parade are received from entrant fees, they are not sufficient to cover the total costs. Since the parade is truly a community event we ask you, the local business person, to help cover the costs by making a donation to the upcoming parade.

The Anniversary of the Hellenic Declaration of Independence is fast approaching. 

Us Greeks all over the world remember the struggle of our fathers and pay tribute to their heroism and sacrifice. Our local annual parade honoring this grand event of our history will take place in Chicago’s Greek Town on March 30th, 2008 at 2:30 pm.

As you are aware, our parade is the largest ethnic attraction of the Greek American community. Participants range from our churches and schools, organizations and professional associations to businesses and professional societies. The participation of our Greek and American leaders along with the Greek delegations and distinguished guests all adds grandness and importance to our parade. Thousands of spectators come to attend it. It is without doubt the broadest representation of every expression of Greek American life and pride of our city.

The Federation of Hellenic American Organizations “ENOSIS” strives for the flawless organization of the parade and counts on your support to make it better.

This year “ENOSIS” is reaching out for your contribution and the inclusion of your name in the Program of the Parade. About 3,000 copies of the Program will be printed and distributed to the public on the day of the parade as well as during several other festivities organized by “ENOSIS”. In addition, the Program and all the parade sponsors will be posted in the web site of “ENOSIS” and the contributors will be given worthy recognition in all its public addresses that will take place in relation to the parade. We believe it will be a unique opportunity for your broad publicity to the Greek community in one of its most noted events.
